SLOW
Backstory
There is a stretch of road on every farm that the flock has learned to regret. It looks like ordinary ground, but it is not ordinary ground — it is Sticky Tar, laid down by the farm’s least popular road crew and never once complained about by the farm itself. Chickens wade through it. That is the point. They slow, they stick, and they are gently cooked.
Gently is the key word. The tar does not explode, does not zap and does not rush. It is patient the way weather is patient. A chicken that walks into the patch is a chicken that will be there for a while, slightly warm, deeply slowed, and very visible to every tower behind it. For a cheap 22 eggs, the tar turns your worst chokepoint into a barbecue that takes its time.
Its weakness is honest: very low damage on its own. The tar is a support act, not a headliner — it sets the table, and everything else does the eating. Sharper Traps makes the cooking more serious, and Trapper’s Kit adds +50%. Stack it in front of your damage line and the flock wades in slowly, politely, and straight into the firing squad.
What it’s good at
Cheap slow that scales with Sharper Traps — the road remembers them.
Weakness
Very low damage on its own
Power-ups & upgrade paths
📈 Perks that boost it
Sharper Traps, Rapid Fire
✨ Relic synergy
Trapper’s Kit — traps deal +50% damage.
🔱 SUPER fusion
Eight of this defence fuse into one SUPER unit — x10 damage and double lifetime. Only one SUPER on the board at a time; extra sets feed it to power it up.
🔧 Upgrades & buffs
Hover a tower and press U for +25 seconds of lifetime per level. Overclock boosts all damage and fire rate by 50% for 25 seconds, and when the door drops below 15% HP every tower fires 25% faster. Press H for buff mode — towers beside a SUPER boost it 5% each.
Durability
💥 Smash hits
4 hits before it falls apart. 4 smash hits and the tar patch finally cools.
🍗 Who smashes it
Demolition Drumsticks take 50–75% of a structure’s max HP per swing, and Heavy Metal Chickens and Bureaucrat Elites knock things down too.
☢️ Friendly fire
Your own Nuke and explosive chain reactions don’t care whose side it’s on — keep fragile towers out of the blast radius.
