Terms & Conditions
The rules for playing Chicken Siege, using cloud saves and taking part in the leaderboards.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or playing Chicken Siege you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
2. Licence to play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play the game for personal, non-commercial use. All game content — code, art, sprites, text and sound — remains our property.
The game is currently free to play in your browser. Any future paid content (for example a Steam release) will be governed by these same terms.
3. Player names and conduct
No account is required to play. Leaderboard names must be 1–4 characters and are profanity-filtered. Do not impersonate others or use offensive names; we may remove names or entries that violate this code of conduct.
4. Cloud saves and codes
Cloud saves are identified by a code you generate, and the private key is the credential that unlocks the save. You are responsible for keeping the key private — anyone with it can restore the save. We may remove cloud data that is inactive, abandoned or used in breach of these terms.
5. Daily Challenge and leaderboards
The Daily Challenge provides ten free plays per day (subject to change), and the server is the authority for play counts, unlocks and board results. Cheating, automation or exploiting bugs to manipulate leaderboards may result in removal from the boards.
6. Third-party services
The game is served from cs.idbproductions.com and uses third-party services (hosting, video playback, fonts). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Intellectual property
All trademarks, art, sprites and content in Chicken Siege are the property of the operator. You may not copy, modify, sell or redistribute the game or its assets without permission. You may share screenshots and share cards for non-commercial purposes.
8. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, overload or disrupt the game or its servers, and do not use bots or automated play in competitive modes.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The game is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the game.
Saves are provided without guarantee; the game keeps three rotating backups automatically to protect against corruption.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the game after changes means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction]. Questions about these terms can be sent to [contact email].
