Backstory
The Bread-Crumb Mine is the flock’s favourite snack and its least favourite surprise, in exactly that order. It sits on the road looking like a perfectly reasonable pile of breadcrumbs — because it is a perfectly reasonable pile of breadcrumbs, with a very unreasonable amount of explosive underneath. Chickens peck it. BOOM.
The boom is an AoE event with ambitions: it clears the pecking chicken and everything around it, and when several mines are near each other, the first boom triggers the second, which triggers the third — chain reactions that turn the road into a drumroll. The flock has a rule about breadcrumbs now. The rule is: don’t.
Its weakness is honest: it needs a chicken to trigger it. Ghosts float over, cautious flocks walk around, and a mine with no pecking is just a very tense pile of crumbs. Sharper Traps makes the boom heavier, Bigger Bangs makes it wider, and Trapper’s Kit adds +50% — three ways to make the flock’s favourite snack even more regrettable.
What it’s good at
AoE boom with chain reactions — a snack that answers back.
Weakness
Needs a chicken to trigger it
Power-ups & upgrade paths
📈 Perks that boost it
Sharper Traps, Rapid Fire, Bigger Bangs
✨ Relic synergy
Trapper’s Kit — traps deal +50% damage.
🔱 SUPER fusion
Eight of this defence fuse into one SUPER unit — x10 damage and double lifetime. Only one SUPER on the board at a time; extra sets feed it to power it up.
🔧 Upgrades & buffs
Hover a tower and press U for +25 seconds of lifetime per level. Overclock boosts all damage and fire rate by 50% for 25 seconds, and when the door drops below 15% HP every tower fires 25% faster. Press H for buff mode — towers beside a SUPER boost it 5% each.
Durability
💥 Smash hits
3 hits before it falls apart. 3 smash hits, though the mine prefers to go out with a bang.
🍗 Who smashes it
Demolition Drumsticks take 50–75% of a structure’s max HP per swing, and Heavy Metal Chickens and Bureaucrat Elites knock things down too.
☢️ Friendly fire
Your own Nuke and explosive chain reactions don’t care whose side it’s on — keep fragile towers out of the blast radius.
