Backstory
The Cluck Cluster is what happens when a mine factory gets a family-planning budget. It is a mine that, on detonation, splits into five smaller mines — each one eager, each one armed, each one ready to make the same point the original was trying to make. The flock has learned to read the warning label: THIS MINE HAS CHILDREN.
The main blast is already a problem. The five fragments are the bigger problem — they scatter across the area like an argument, covering ground the original mine never could. One mine, six explosions, one very large area of regret. The flock has a saying about the Cluck Cluster: you don’t fight it, you move somewhere else.
Bigger Bangs multiplies the main blast AND every fragment, turning the cluster into a small weather system of booms. Its weakness is honest: it needs a chicken to trigger it, and it costs more than the other mines. Place it where the flock is guaranteed to step, and let the family reunion begin. The farm’s only rule: don’t stand near the fragments. The farm is very bad at following its own rule.
What it’s good at
Main blast plus five fragments — one mine, six problems.
Weakness
Needs triggering; costs more
Power-ups & upgrade paths
📈 Perks that boost it
Bigger Bangs, Rapid Fire
🔱 SUPER fusion
Eight of this defence fuse into one SUPER unit — x10 damage and double lifetime. Only one SUPER on the board at a time; extra sets feed it to power it up.
🔧 Upgrades & buffs
Hover a tower and press U for +25 seconds of lifetime per level. Overclock boosts all damage and fire rate by 50% for 25 seconds, and when the door drops below 15% HP every tower fires 25% faster. Press H for buff mode — towers beside a SUPER boost it 5% each.
Durability
💥 Smash hits
4 hits before it falls apart. 4 smash hits, though the fragments do the real damage.
🍗 Who smashes it
Demolition Drumsticks take 50–75% of a structure’s max HP per swing, and Heavy Metal Chickens and Bureaucrat Elites knock things down too.
☢️ Friendly fire
Your own Nuke and explosive chain reactions don’t care whose side it’s on — keep fragile towers out of the blast radius.
