Official file: “Chickens hate garlic. They scatter in random directions, ruining their formation.”
The story so far

Backstory

Vampires are not the only thing garlic works on. It turns out chickens hate it even more — a discovery the farm made entirely by accident, when a cook dropped a clove in the wrong direction and the entire flock disassembled like a card tower. The Garlic Grenade is that accident, weaponised. It is exactly what it sounds like, and it is deeply effective.

It deals no damage, because it doesn’t need to. The grenade’s job is to ruin formations: one toss and the flock scatters in random directions — no more funnel, no more column, no more tidy march into the kill zone. The chickens spend the next few seconds trying to remember which way they were going, and that is when every other defence on the board does its best work.

Chaos Marketing makes the scatter even more chaotic; Rapid Fire keeps the garlic coming. Its weakness is honest — no damage of its own — but the farm has a saying: you don’t need to kill a formation, you just need to break it. The Garlic Grenade is the farm’s favourite way to say “rethink your approach.”

What it’s good at

Ruins enemy formations — chaos is the point.

Power-ups & upgrade paths

📈 Perks that boost it

Chaos Marketing, Rapid Fire

🔱 SUPER fusion

Eight of this defence fuse into one SUPER unit — x10 damage and double lifetime. Only one SUPER on the board at a time; extra sets feed it to power it up.

🔧 Upgrades & buffs

Hover a tower and press U for +25 seconds of lifetime per level. Overclock boosts all damage and fire rate by 50% for 25 seconds, and when the door drops below 15% HP every tower fires 25% faster. Press H for buff mode — towers beside a SUPER boost it 5% each.

How it gets destroyed

Durability

💥 Smash hits

6 hits before it falls apart. 6 smash hits and the garlic finally loses its bite.

🍗 Who smashes it

Demolition Drumsticks take 50–75% of a structure’s max HP per swing, and Heavy Metal Chickens and Bureaucrat Elites knock things down too.

☢️ Friendly fire

Your own Nuke and explosive chain reactions don’t care whose side it’s on — keep fragile towers out of the blast radius.
